Welcome to the Centre Généalogique et Héraldique de la Marne association (or CG51) !

We are a non-lucrative association based on mutual aid among our members with the goal of tracing family trees and historical events. We have centralized over 7 million ancestors having lived in the department of the Marne in the region of Champagne in France. Check and see if you have relatives that once lived here too!

NOTE : All records and publications are in their native language, French. For this reason, certain pages of this site have not been translated into English.

CERTIFICATES AND RECORDS

NOTE : On this site, the records include only the first and family names along with the year. However we offer the complete transcription copied from the original documents either as :

• Infos (only the information) or as
• Image files (scan of the document only when specified by the presence of a checkbox).

Each record includes the Family name, the First and Middle names, the Day/Month/Year and the Town/City of the certificate. Many include the person's origin, his/her age, his/her parents' names and other relevant information. Upon reception of your order form and payment, we send you an email with the desired information and/or files.
